Note Disposal of waste batteries
The following information is aimed at those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and in the form delivered to them no longer resell (End User):
1 Unpaid redemption of waste batteries
Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries, so proper disposal can be guaranteed. You may submit used batteries to a municipal collection center or on site. We are acting as a distributor of batteries to take back waste batteries obliged to give our take-back obligation on batteries of the type that we carry in our range as new batteries or have performed. Batteries aforementioned kind you could either sufficient postage back to us or they give directly free of charge to our warehouse at the following address:

The second meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed out wheelie bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 per cent of mercury, more than 0.002 percent cadmium or more than 0.004 percent lead, is located under the bin symbol the chemical symbol of the pollutant used in each case - where "Cd" for cadmium, "Pb "stands for lead, and" Hg "for mercury."
3rd starter batteries
The sale of starter batteries, the following special provisions apply: The seller is gem. § 10 BattG obliged to notify end users to charge a deposit in the amount of 7.50 Euro including VAT if the end user the seller does not return a used starter battery at the time of purchase of the new starter battery. The customer receives when purchasing a starter battery a deposit voucher. In return the old starter battery on a furnished from public-waste disposal collection point, the customer has to confirm the disposal by stamp and signature. The customer then has the option to return this confirmation stating the customer number for the refund of the deposit to the seller. Alternatively, the customer can submit his old starter battery together with the pawn ticket for the refund of the deposit directly to the seller. (Due to the dangerous goods regulation is a shipment of the old battery to the seller not permitted.)
